Dr.M.S.CHOUSALKAR

Dr. Chousalkar is an alumnus of the Bombay Vet College; completing his Masters in Vet Science in 1995 from the same Institute. He started his career as a small animal practitioner at the same time and in the year 1997, successfully ran a Mobile Vet Clinic for six years which was very popular in the suburbs of Mumbai.

He now runs a vet clinic in Andheri with his wife Dr. Deepali. Dr Chousalkar has keen interest in canine internal medicine, cardiology, dentistry and dermatology. A member of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, US for last three years; he professes great interest in the field of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine.

His clinic, TOP DOG PETS CLINIC is well equipped with an OT having facilities of Gas anaesthetics, Pulse Oximetry, ECG. All types of soft tissue, orthopaedic and basic spay-neuter surgeries are carried out at his clinic. Recently laparoscopic surgeries are performed regularly for pin-hole spays removal of retained abdominal testicles etc. The clinic offers facilities of ultrasonic dental scaling for pets, blood transfusion in critical cases & ECG.

The clinic also does a good amount of welfare work for stray animals which involves medication, emergency treatment and surgeries.
Dr. S. S. Mallapur

A graduate and post graduate from Bombay Veterinary college.

In small animal practice since the year 2000. 

Keen interest in wild animal medicine and have been associated with the Mumbai Zoo and the Sanjay Gandhi National Park.

Worked as a Honorary Veterinarian for a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centre (Uttara’s Animal rescue and rehabilitation centre), Pune, India

Founder member, Secretary and Honorary Veterinarian for a rescue centre for reptiles (Reptile Rescue and Study Centre) situated in Mumbai, India.

Conduct awareness programs on reptiles in schools, colleges through slide shows throughout Bombay.

Conduct training programs on rescue of reptiles in problem areas in Bombay city.

Have a diploma in Sustainable Development and Natural Resources Management from Ecological society, Pune. Gaining experience in land restoration projects.

Enjoy reading, classical dance, having studied it for 10 years and travelling. Wildlife sanctuaries being favoured destinations.

Dr. B. R. Raj

A product of the Bombay Veterinary College, Dr Brijesh R. Raj, is an independent companion animal veterinarian since 2000, in addition to being employed on board a Reliance run mobile clinic (since 2004). He has worked with domestic and exotic animals and has been associated with a variety of medical and surgical interventions in a cross-section of animals and birds. His dedication and passion are more than evidenced by the number of stray animals he treats. Fourteen clinical articles underline his interest in research. Tai-chi, French, Chess, Rifle shooting, Marathon running, writing and nature are his other areas of interest.

Worked for over a year, on a part-time basis, at the Uttara’s A.R.R.C. (Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre), a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center at Pune and assisted in the treatment of various reptiles at the Reptile Rescue and Study Centre (R.R.S.C.), a Bombay based NGO.
